Getting up there

Growing old sucks. I had always expected being old to happen in my 70s, ending up with a cane at 26 was not my idea of being old thank you very much.

Reflections

I think it’s always interesting that pictures of the CN tower are what come to mind, when someone brings up Toronto, but feel photographers often neglect the other cool architecture in the city. I tried to capture both with this shot.

Skate Walking

Wandering around Toronto leads to some interesting sights, especially in trendier neighbourhoods like Queen West.

Frosty Flower

Recently I was lucky enough to have the Cascades of Time Gardens in Banff Alberta all to myself, first thing in the morning which put social distancing on easy mode! It was lovely to see all of the beautiful flowers covered in fresh frost.

Athabasca Falls

The Athabasca Falls are a roaring torrent of water going down a surprisingly narrow cliff in the Rocky Mountains. Swimming not recommended for those fond of life.

Mountains 1

The Canadian Rockies are really intimidating. I always feel extra short when I visit them.

Travelling

I’m on my way to the mountains, and I’m not the only one on the way. It’s always funny to me that photography has the power to freeze a slice of time even when barreling down the highway.
