Vegan Poutine

Toronto is home to a Poutine Festival! This year I managed to find a VEGAN poutine that was incredibly good. I almost didn’t believe it was vegan!

Bread Pudding!

Bread pudding is a staple of a dessert in New Orleans! This deliciously sweet and syrupy treat is traditionally made using old bread that’s soaked in an assortment of cream and spices and sugar and then baked.

Campus Life

The University of Toronto Campus is full of some very unique architecture, with plenty of buildings combining traditional brickwork and modern metal and glass.

Café du Monde

Café du Monde is a New Orleans staple, first established in 1862. Home of the famous French Donuts: Beignets! The open air shop on Decatur Street is home to a kitchen that runs with an efficiency reminiscent of the early days of McDonald’s with dozens and dozens of Beignets being served every minute.

Tommy’s Tiramisu
While in New Orleans there’s no shortage of incredible food. Like any one with a sweet tooth, I’m starting with Dessert first. At Tommy’s Cuisine I had the most incredible Tiramisu! For those of you who don’t know me, Tiramisu is one of my all time favourite desserts!
