Blooming in Red

I love shooting flowers with fast apertures. The shallow depth of field makes it seem like the blooms are just floating in space.

This red beauty was at the Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland, Oregon. I loved my visit there, everything in the garden was just as serene as you imagine it would be. Flowers and bonsai everywhere!
