Night in Korea-town
I have a love/hate relationship with taking photos at night. I love the look of nighttime photos, but they’re such a challenge to take. Less light makes everything harder, but still, I think this photo of Toronto’s Korea-town turned out quite nicely. Who doesn’t love Walnut cakes after all?

Fran’s in the Morning
Fran’s at College and Bay is an institution here in Toronto, serving up awesome diner food! Fran’s frontage also has the best lighting! I got up and headed downtown to get there just as the sun was rising to capture the awesome neon lights and other early risers!

Gritty Graffiti
I love taking pictures of street art, capturing how the paint transforms the brickwork, how the textures are just so gritty.

Steel Drummer
Steel drums are fascinating to me, they sound like no other instrument and are just so fun. This talented musician was playing on them in the street in downtown Toronto.

Red Brick Magic
I have a weakness for Red Bricks. Red anything really! I loved the composition of this shot, this building is in Mid town Toronto on Eglinton! The way everything was so artfully arranged on the wall, it made me feel like I was Wes Anderson.

Coffee Run
This gorgeous lady was hustling past me with a few coffees in hand in Downtown Toronto on a cold winter day! I like to imagine she was rushing to a super important modelling contract!

Cracks in Time
Sometimes, things get in the way of the shot you want, so you need to work around them. This clock tower had a tree right in my Line of sight, so I opened my aperture waaaaaay up to f1.8 and that blurred out most of the foreground, but had the unintended consequence of making it…
