I’ve always found it entertaining that manhole covers are sometimes labeled DANGER, especially on covers such as this one, when it’s placed in the middle of a crosswalk. It’s such an ambiguous warning. Danger: don’t touch? Danger: don’t open? Danger: Explosive? It could mean any number of things. Personally I like to imagine it as

Iridescence
Even though I’ve called Toronto home for years, and have been photographing it for even longer, it’s still full of interesting surprises when I wander off from my usual routine. This incredibly iridescent building is fittingly not far from the AGO and even on dreary days still pops with lively colours.
