The Magic of Cropping

In the gallery above you’ll find 2 different crops of the same image. This picture was taken in March 2024 of the Filmores building in Toronto Ontario. With a closer crop this could be a scene from just about any city in North America, the red brick and tiny windows reminiscent of 20th century apartment buildings.

Zoom out however and you see Filmores, one of the “gentlemen’s clubs” in Toronto.
